Cotton Higher for Friday Midday Alan Brugler - BRUG - Fri Nov 20, 11:25AM CST Front month cotton futures are trading 39 to 53 points higher through midday. Monday is fist notice day for December cotton futures. Weekly cotton bookings from USDA’s Export Sales report were 131,406 RBs for the week ending November 12. USDA’s daily Spot Quotations report had 12,338 bales sold on Thursday for an average of 66.71 cents. The Cotlook A index regained 50 points to 78.15 c/lb. The new Adjusted World Price for cotton from FSA was 13 points higher to 56.84 cents/lb, good through Thanksgiving. Dec 20 Cotton is at 69.85, up 53 points, | Mar 21 Cotton is at 72.11, up 44 points | May 21 Cotton is at 72.98, up 41 points | Jul 21 Cotton is at 73.66, up 39 points |
