SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,468 lbs at 105.05, heifers 1,306 lbs at 104.91. Dressed 
delivered steers 963 lbs at 164.89, heifers 848 lbs at 164.71.  Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 216.87, up 
0.99, and Select 206.89, up 1.71.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Early weaned pigs 2.00 per head 
higher.  All feeder pigs 7.00 per head higher. Demand moderate for 
moderate offerings.  Receipts include 37% formulated prices.  Feeder 
pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 27.26; 40 lbs cash basis 41.47.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was not reported due to 
confidentiality.  Sows live price 300-449 lbs 16.66, 450-499 lbs 20.53, 
and 500-549 lbs 25.19.
  SC Grain on Monday:  Corn was 1 to 2 cents higher; elevator bids 3.91-
4.36, processor bids 4.16-4.36.  Soybeans were 6 cents lower; elevator 
bids 9.36-9.86, processor bid 10.41, and export N/A. Wheat bids were 
mostly 2 to 6 cents higher; elevator bids 5.10-5.30.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.26 
lower at 62.69.
