Triple Digit Gains for Cotton

Monday’s midday board shows cotton futures pushing above 90 cents with triple digit gains so far. New crop December is also trading higher with a 74 point gain. USDA’s weekly cotton market review average price for the week ending 2/19 was 84.73 cents.lb. The Cotlook A index was another 30 points higher to 95.40 cents for Feb 19. The week’s AWP for cotton is 73.13 cents/lb., in effect through Thursday.

Mar 21 Cotton is at 90.48, up 153 points,
May 21 Cotton is at 91.94, up 146 points
Jul 21 Cotton is at 92.64, up 143 points
Dec 21 Cotton is at 86.28, up 78 points
