Cotton Resumes Rally through Midday

Monday gains are recovering the Friday pullback with the board up 118 to 129 points so far. New crop cotton futures are UNCH in thin October, but 116 points in the black. USDA’s weekly Cotton Market Review said 42,139 bales were sold on the week ending 02/04 @ an average price 77.4 cents/lb. The 02/05 Cotlook A index was up another 3.20 points to 90.90 cents per pound. USDA lowered the week’s Adjusted World Price for cotton by 121 points to 66.38 cents/lb., effective through Thursday.

Mar 21 Cotton is at 83.92, up 118 points,
May 21 Cotton is at 85.3, up 128 points
Jul 21 Cotton is at 86.13, up 129 points
Dec 21 Cotton is at 81.8, up 116 points
